After my first cruise at 18 I was pretty set that cruising just wasn’t for me. The constraint of time in each location and time table to rush back to the boat screams “anti-relaxation.” But, how the years pass and you realize you didn’t now jack at 18… or maybe that’s just me. 

It all started in Fall of 2023 when my friends were booking an Italian cruise set to sail in mid-summer 2024. Per usual, I was on the fence about the cruising piece and had become a bit of a workaholic, hoarding my vacation time. For what, who knows? However, as time progressed + the help of a VERY persuasive friend who shall not be names, I gave in. The cruise included Italy + (2) stops in Croatia and (1) in Montenegro. So, you had the chance to see a lot in one trip all while someone else steers the ship, literally. Then tack on a night in Iceland and BAM! You’ve got yourself a trip of a lifetime. My actual roommate from home graciously agreed to room together on the ship and did we have FUN! It was the BEST and made memories that will last a lifetime. From our perfect day in Portofino to our Venice explorations. This trip was one for the books!
